Bailey has 6 years of experience in both studying the written word and teaching it, with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Journalism and a TEFL org 140-hour Online and In-person teaching qualification. He’s also spent 9 Months as a self employed Online English language tutor, helping ESL employees all over the world adapt to work in English speaking countries. He’s also taught classrooms of students at EFL Summer Schools, teaching them various aspects of English that can be helpful in any setting, including business.
Be it 1-to-1 or in a classroom, Bailey employs his previous experience with performing in theatrical shows and Radio plays to keep his lessons engaging as well as educational. Student interactivity and problem solving is essential when learning with him, with students often being advised to do independent research into various topics and points of interest, which can then be used to inspire lesson topics and help the student use their own interests to develop their English speaking and writing skills. He mainly serves the Education and E-Learning sectors as per his experience teaching English, but is also well versed in teaching general workplace vocabulary and polite mannerisms, with many students specifically asking for assistance in this exact area.
Outside business hours, Bailey always looks to expand his knowledge on the world through experiencing art from many different cultures and keeping an eye on the latest global news. He also enjoys the odd swing at the Golf course, travelling the UK with friends, collecting Vinyl records and mixing unique Cocktails. It brings him great joy to use this worldly experience in his teaching to give his lessons a personal touch.
